The final prize could always be a prismum or a bag of soulary, or some kind of upgrade to one of these two game currencies, or, for the moment, the choice of a curse of O'Shah with at least two curses that grant advantages on these two currencies (discounts, more money, etc.).įor today this is all. In order to restore order, you'll have to grab your trusty scythe and show your employees who's boss Discover and explore the darkly-charming, procedurally-generated departments of Death Inc., where you’ll meet a diverse cast of memorable characterslike your affable pumpkin-headed assistant, Pump Quinnwho are always. One of the solutions I thought, being a department (I guess of prismium and soulary study) would be interesting to have a second lift in the floor, so as to increase the player's choice of where to go after that floor, with a 25/30% increased chance of finding between the next floors the control room or the shop. Alternatively you could increase the drop rate of some of the rarest weapons in the game (purple and gold levels), all while reducing the chance of finding it and then putting it among the rarest floors in the lift ģ) the soulary-prismium department, currently looks like an ugly twin of the prismium and soulary depot, useful for goodness sake but lacks characterisation. But Have a Nice Death incorporates a challenge system into its upgrades. And I would adapt it as a complete floor with enemies like the other floors (as well as I would do with the control room), where maybe the enemies, only on this floor have the possibility to drop items that can be used as a discount in the shop Ģ) the Caveau, is the worst standard floor (meaning with enemies to defeat) to go to, it doesn't really have anything particular worth going for since you can find everything there, so I can suggest to change the floor with a double reward "item" at the end of the floor (instead of 30 soulary you find 60, instead of a prismium you get two, instead of finding a curse changer or a curse remover, you can find both or two of either type, gold bars would also be good when there will be a greater implementation of their use). There are 3 plans that really are very ambiguous in what they want to do and I'm here with some ideas on this to suggest possible changes:ġ) the shop, it's really frustrating when you have to go there because it usually doesn't really have much useful in the current state of the game, I would implement basic as soon as you arrive (without spending prismium) 3 sale slots: one with some cure (with a percentage chance of finding a yellow cure, especially in rerolls with prismium), one with a weapon and one with a spell. So maybe I will edit this post in the future or open more threads about it. There will be atleast 5 departments you progress through, difficulty is not hard either, it starts of easy.

You will have many different builds and levels are randomly generated.
#Have a nice death update#
Hi guys, I'm writing this post knowing already that there will be an update on the 10th of May. This isnt a metroidvania, its a 2D roguelike game like Dead Cells, so playtime can range upto hundreds of hours since everytime you die you return to the beginning.
